Adam started his early career as an aviation combat medic & surgical technician in the U.S. Army. After leaving the military he worked in the Occupational Medicine space running clinics for both the Sisters of Providence and PeaceHealth before starting his own mobile employer worksite services startup. After selling his first startup, he was brought on to create the first employer health and wellness solution service for the American Cancer Society, then later promoted to lead global online strategy to include www.cancer.org. After ACS, Adam spent a short time leading individual plans for Regence BlueCross/Blueshield before being recruited by Microsoft health to manage both HealthVault and create MyHealthInfo (a consumer health dashboard on MSN.com). From Microsoft Adam was employee number two at HealthyCircles where he spent his time designing and building the HealthyCircles product strategy and leading the Go To Market execution with Dr. James Mault.
Adam’s last role was with a sister company to HealthyCircles named SocialWellth (formerly WorldDoc) a payor focused, eHealth social engagement platform, where Adam was the Chief Marketing Officer overseeing both product strategy and corporate marketing.
