2014SSchwarzAlanAlan Schwarz is a project reporter for The New York Times best known for his 2007-2011 series of more than 100 articles that exposed the seriousness of concussions among football players of all ages. His work was honored with a 2010 Polk Award and was a finalist for the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service, and was featured in The New Yorker and PBS’ “Frontline”. Mr. Schwarz holds a mathematics degree from the University of Pennsylvania and received the American Statistical Association’s 2013 Excellence In Statistical Reporting award.
