In this role, he directs overall strategy for the Digital Platform portfolio, and heads a variety of programs to improve the comprehensive success of innovative positioning approaches and strategy. He has held a wide range of national and international positions in the pharmaceutical industry, directing business strategy, marketing efforts and positioning across business units, regions and disease areas. His experiences include developing brand strategy, driving innovative positioning and building and leading marketing teams. His particular areas of expertise include brand architecture, digital marketing, cross-functional team leadership and marketing management.

Previously, he served as the Head of Digital and Multi-Channel Marketing for Healthcare Professionals and Global Commercialization at Novartis Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that he was the Executive Director of Insights and Innovation at Novartis, a role in which he developed and lead a team that designed, strategized and implemented customer and brand insights, innovation and agency management across the firm’s U.S. General Medicines unit. While with Novartis, he also held many other sales and marketing leadership positions, spearheading brand positioning, generating lifecycle plans and engineering product launches.
