Arshya Vahabzadeh M.D. is the Chief Medical Officer at Brain Power, a neurotechnology company building intelligent wearable systems for people with brain differences and disorders. He is a physician trained in family medicine, psychiatry, and child psychiatry. Dr. Vahabzadeh has additional appointments at the Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy, MIT Solve Brain Health Leadership group, and previously as Harvard Medical School academic faculty and as the Chairperson of the American Psychiatric Association Council on Communications.
Dr. Vahabzadeh has won over 20 national and international awards including the ACP Laughlin Fellowship, the AMA Foundation Excellence in Medicine Leadership Award, and the APA Leadership Fellowship. He has been honored as a “40 under 40” healthcare innovator by MedTechBoston, and a winner of the Khan Academy/AAMC/RWJF MCAT Video competition.
