Leading Bridge Design – now part of Ximedica – for the past 20 years to perform at the forefront of the industry, invoking a highly user-centered design approach improving customer appeal and market share for clients from startup to Fortune 500. His broad and deep industry perspective results in powerful cross-pollination of ideas that anticipate consumer and medical trends, result in multiple industry design awards, and importantly, improve client’s market share.
Bill’s a sought after speaker on design and innovation at conferences and has written extensively for industry media. He has also been a guest lecturer/mentor at UC Berkeley, Stanford, and RCA design programs.
Bill has served as a Venture Advisory Board Member for Kimberly-Clark, and since 2003 on the Editorial Advisory Board of industry leading publication Medical Device & Diagnostic Industry (MD&DI). He was named among the “100 Notable People” in the medical device industry by that same organization.
Bill owns multiple patents and holds two masters level degrees, awarded jointly: an MDes Industrial Design Engineering from the UK’s Royal College of Art, and a DIC Engineering from its sister university, Imperial College.
