Dina Fine Maron is an award-winning health and science journalist based out of Washington, D.C. As an associate editor at Scientific American she hosts the weekly 60-second health podcast and has written numerous articles for the web and print. She has been a guest on NPR’s On Point and CSPAN’s Washington Journal. Her reporting also appeared in Newsweek, Greenwire, ClimateWire, and Time.com. Maron has worked in Kenya, Tanzania and along the Thai-Burma border. She received a B.A. from Brandeis University and a graduate degree in public health from the Johns Hopkins University.
