Grant Verstandig is a D.C. – based entrepreneur who founded Audax Health, a digital health company that specializes in creating a more social and personalized health experience for every consumer.

As a result of an injury that led to a long series of surgeries, Grant sought out a tool he could use to learn more about his prognosis and how others in similar situations were coping. Coming up empty, Grant became determined to create his own digital health solution to help transform the health care experience.

In 2010, Grant Verstandig officially launched Audax Health and captured the attention of industry titans in both tech and health, people like John Sculley, former CEO of Apple, John Rowe, former CEO of Aetna and Roger Ferguson, president and CEO of TIAA-CREF, just to name a few. In just a few years, Audax Health now with approximately 100 employees has two offices in Washington D.C. and San Francisco and over $50M in funding. Grant is an entrepreneur in the true sense of the word. He was the first to crack the code of how to effectively apply consumer technologies to change health care and translate this into a viable business model.
