Preston Moxcey serves as the Vice President and General Manager for Misfit. Misfit creates design-forward wearables with applications across health, wellness, and fitness. Misfit's hardware and software experiences feature a versatile, minimalist design aesthetic that is at once fashionable and uniquely wearable. Misfit distributes its products globally via misfit.com and several key retail partners including Apple. Misfit’s iconic products include the Misfit Phase Hybrid Smartwatch and Misfit Shine and Misfit Ray Activity Trackers. Fossil Group, one of the the world's leading watch manufacturers, acquired California-based Misfit in December 2015 to rapidly scale their wearable technology product offering and expand their addressable market across connected devices. The merger has enabled the development and launch of wearables and apps from Fossil Group across their owned and licensed portfolio brands including Fossil, Skagen, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Emporio Armani, Diesel, and more. Joining Fossil Group in 2013, Preston was formerly General Manager for Wearable Technology and led global brand management for Emporio Armani, Michele and Zodiac. Prior to Fossil, Preston was Divisional Merchandise Manager and Buyer for Nordstrom, responsible for several categories including Watches and Jewelry. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
