Scott Kim is the co-founder and CEO of NEOFECT USA, a medtech company that helps stroke survivors and people with spinal cord injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, or neurological conditions regain independence and live fuller, more active lives. NEOFECT’s game-based rehabilitation solutions deliver more engaging, quantifiable therapy to improve cognitive, hand, and upper arm function, while its robotic orthosis creates an artificial grip to increase hand mobility.

Kim’s diagnosis of spina bifida and the ensuing surgery and long rehabilitation he underwent as a child spurred his passion to create NEOFECT. Prior to launching NEOFECT, Kim held management positions in various startups and large companies in the high tech and gaming industries. He received his MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
