He joined the firm in 2011 and is a leader in the Firm’s healthcare IT practice. He also leads the company’s provider IT and digital health practice areas and related efforts on clinical systems value, healthcare payments, IT transformation and digital consumer engagement Sri’s client work with McKinsey has focused across healthcare sectors on a variety of topics ranging from strategy and performance to operations and technology.
Recent work/projects have included designing consumer digital experience and multi-channel engagement model for an integrated health system; developing a “digital speed” IT organization and target operating model for a leading national health system to optimize innovation capital and 3rd party platform alliances; developing a comprehensive cyber-security resiliency strategy for a leading national integrated health system including executive war gaming and business case; developing an enterprise digital consumer engagement and “retail” strategy for a leading national Integrated Delivery Network; and leading multiple, transformative IT performance optimization programs and Lean Operations efforts for regional health systems and AMCs spanning all application development and infrastructure functions and core IT operations.
Before joining McKinsey, Sri was a Partner at both Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Diamond Management & Technology Consultants where he advised industry leading firms in financial services and healthcare. Sri holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BSE in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Economics from Duke University.
