He oversees strategic planning, corporate relations and an innovation lab with the ultimate goal of finding, pursuing and improving solutions for AARP’s members. He has more than 25 years of domestic and international experience in information technology development and delivery and management, holding senior leadership positions with AARP and major technology enterprises. Previously, he served as AARP’s Chief Information Officer, where he launched a new IT strategy that transformed the technology function into a value-creating element of the organization through high-profile technology product initiatives and digital literacy programs.

Prior to joining AARP, he worked as a principal for IBM’s Media and Entertainment practice, with a primary focus on the turnaround of struggling IT projects and corporate management initiatives. He also led the implementation of national and state Online Lottery Systems as a senior executive at Gaming-Technologies Corporation, and served as Integraph Corporation’s technology liaison for their European sales and manufacturing operations.
